News: Mitchell Brothers on Itunes UK

Mitchell Brothers – "Dressed For The Ocassion" in Stores in the UK

Mitchell Brothers

Here is an interesting quote from someone on Itunes:
Willlll Quoted: "People need to start supporting the UK scene more and opening their eyes to great artists like the mitchell brothers instead of the same old stuff from Americans like 50 cent who can only rap about money…."

This Album is quality and I too think it's a shame that American record execs aren't pushing this record out in the airwaves.

Albums like these should be released in more than just one Country.

News: Henok is taking over Swedish hiphop

Henok

Who is Henok?

When it comes to lyrical ability, swagger, delivery and the ability to rap over 145 beats per minute instrumentals, no one in the US, Canada, or the UK can come close to this new rapping phenom and to make matters worse, Henok isn't even from any of those territories. From the streets of Sweden lies a rapper with a style of his own; while armed with some of the best producers in Europe, Henok is about to make a big Splash with his new Album titled that Fxcking Guy. As many new rappers take the safe route by rapping about guns, drugs, politics, partying, dancing, relationships, philosophy or just jumbled backpacked rap topics, Henok flips the concept of a rap song and uses Production from Astma, & Sakis, to rap in a way that expresses himself and projects his personality on the music. In the song Rockstar Rollin, a song where most rappers would talk about their money, material possessions, women and how obtaining such makes you a rock star; Henok flips the concept and explains that he's a Rock star because he has a Rock Star Mentality, a concept that everyone who has ever felt a feeling grander can relate too. Throughout his EP Henok doesn't once mention his material possessions or show any signs that he's wealthy or even has money. During the eight tracks of his EP, Henok expresses himself in a conversational way that's easy to relate to and yet complex, catchy and entertaining. His swagger can be compared to a Ludacris which a delivery to match, however his song concepts don't ever fall into "Cliche'" Hip-Hop topics and never linger into the sometimes boring concept of storytelling that many underground rappers part-take in; Henok is Pure Lyricism, Pure Swagger, and Pure Expression. The one underground rapper that won't put your Grandmother to sleep is the one underground rapper that you won't believe is from Sweden and is the one underground rapper that is on a quest to shake up the Hip-Hop industry and hopefully rid the world of "Cliché" Hip-Hop. Henok, is name…The rapper of the future.

News: HipHop producer XV is furious

XV

Internet Production theft is on the rise as another up and coming producer gets an instrumental stolen from their online website. Producer XV, a rapper that’s been producing since he was 15, using the 9th Wonder favored software Fruity Loops, has been posting free beats on Soundclick.com and his website KingzmenProductions.com as a way to promote his skill and increase business to his growing production company. According to XV’s Video Blog, an unknown producer by name the of G Sparkz, downloaded one of XV’s instrumentals from Soundclick.com and shopped it to Remy Ma, who recorded a freestyle and a music video for the song without any prior knowledge that G Sparks didn’t produce the beat. As Remy Ma’s promotional Video circulates and the sales of her new mixtape “Shesus Khryst” with the mis-credited XV instrumental increases, it’s unclear whether XV is going to take legal measures to claim the album credit & royalties he deserves for the usage of his instrumental.
A similar story happened earlier this year when another unknown production hopeful J-Boogie downloaded an instrumental owned by Apex productions and shopped it to G-Unit Records where 50 Cent was willing use it as his hit single. But like many instrumental theft cases, the truth came out when G-Unit Records began asking for the original drum tracks of the song in order to properly record and master 50 cents vocals to music. Luckily a G-Unit records representative got word that the instrumental was originally made by Apex productions which propelled Apex productions into instant superstardom where they now grace the pages of Scratch magazine and are currently working artists such as Chamillionaire & Prodigy and are racking the royalty checks from 50 Cents #1 Video and single titled “I Get Money”.
However, It’s unclear if such good fortune will happen to producer/rapper XV, but as the truth begins make it’s way around websites such as myspace, and other social networking sites, karma should play its positive role & XV should eventually get the credit and recognition he deserves for being the true producer behind Remy Ma’s new video and promotional freestyle for “Shesus Khryst”.

Click Below to see XV’s complete account of the situation…
